Business Development Series Summary

Entrepreneurship is the building block of the job creation and development that leads to economic productivity and growth. The issue at hand though is that productivity and growth has been stalled and the impact of this deceleration has resulted in a weak economy and pitiful job market. There needs to be initiatives and actions in place that are directed towards shifting this decline in productive activity. What we have developed is a series of classes dedicated to small business development. The classes will offer not only educational value but also information that can be transformed into actual small business development and job creation. What we are offering with these classes is a spark within the creativity department of the participant’s minds which leads to an increased drive towards entrepreneurial aspirations and successful small business creation. Entrepreneurial endeavors are going to be the leading force behind job creation in the upcoming years due to the upheaval of the previous economic drivers. What will be provided for the attendees is the insight and awareness of how to place their business concepts within the vastly changing marketplace; along with the necessary tools and resources needed to succeed and produce longevity within the marketplace.

Entrepreneurial Fit

Everybody wants to be an entrepreneur but what does it actually take to be an entrepreneur who creates a successful product and/or service? This section of the series will provide individuals with an in-depth analysis of what it takes to see favorability and positive results in their quest for entrepreneurial success. While the characteristics of what constitutes an entrepreneur are quite often debated and varied, some common traits can be pinpointed to what contributes to being a successful entrepreneur. What will be ensured is that the participants of the class are fully aware of the fact that being an entrepreneur is no easy task and to make sure they are certain that entrepreneurship is the right career path for them to concentrate their efforts within. This class will help the attendees become aware of their strengths and weaknesses and how to better prepare themselves to be a well-rounded entrepreneur. The class should immediately indicate to the attendees whether they are capable of becoming an entrepreneur or how they should better position themselves to become one.

 Planning for Business

The most common reason for business failure is poor planning that leads to a business standing on a poor foundation. This class will provide the attendees with vital guidelines on how to correctly plan for their businesses. What the class participants need to know is that extensive planning needs to take place in order for them to be knowledgeable about their marketplace and be triumphant over the competition. Our guarantee is that the participants will be placed on a developmental path towards achievable success. What must be mentioned though, is although we cannot guarantee a new business will find instant success we can guarantee the participant will be well-educated on how to structure their business for future success. The class will introduce individuals to beneficial information and valuable concepts that will enhance their ability to shape the vision and mission of their business pursuits accurately.

Business Tax Obligations

Taxes can be a hassle for both individuals and businesses which creates major headaches. This class will give participants the proper tax information that applies to the different structures of business. Businesses are held to varying standards and tax regulations based on the distinctive nature of how their business is operated. From the legal structure of a business to the operational structure  of a business it all combines to impact how a business is placed under certain tax regulations. The participants will be given an extensive presentation and explanations on how to abide to the confusing tax laws and how to protect themselves from being a victim  of failure to pay taxes correctly. The process of meeting different tax requirements can very confusing but the design of the class will help to reduce confusion and avoid future burdens.

Marketing Your Business

Marketing can be described as the backbone for business success if done in the correct manner. This class will give participants beneficial guidelines on how to effectively market their businesses. Participants will be given a better understanding of how to select their target market and how this helps create a better marketing approach. This is a very important topic for any business owner to understand because it is a determinant of business success or failure in terms of correctly communicating with consumers in the marketplace. What will be provided is not only an understanding of how to market your business effectively but also how to become a leader within your selected industry and the business marketplace.

Financing Your Business

Sales, revenue, expenses and profits are very important when it comes to business and the longevity of operations. This class will provide the participants with details on how to develop their business to be financed properly. Getting a loan from a bank or receiving investment capital from a private investor is a difficult task to accomplish. When these two sources of capital are not able to be accessed, self-created measures must be developed. The class will teach the participants how to keep their business afloat with scarce means of capital resources and how to develop disciplined fiscal responsibility. The goal of the class is to produce business owners who can use critical problem solving skills that can help properly analyze complex financial situations instead of being completely unaware of their financial health.
