You know the saying, “Only the strongest survive,” well it is absolutely true. This world has always been competitive but present day and moving forward, it is ultra competitive. Just look at the job market. Teenagers are competing with middle-aged, work experienced adults for the same jobs. Look at higher education. Higher education is becoming mandatory for a good life but such results are not guaranteed and the cost are insanely expensive. We all want the best but getting such quality can be very difficult in today’s climate. Not to say it cannot be done, it is just that only the strongest and toughest of the tough grasp such a level. The marketplace in which many businesses operate within has become fiercely competitive due to the decreased consumption patterns of consumers. As consumers become more hesitant about how their money is spent businesses likewise mimic the same behavioral patterns. The problem with this though is that businesses cannot operate in this manner because it does not resonate well with consumers. As a business you operate in order to make a profit; consumers consume in order to satisfy specific needs and wants. If consumers feel that they are being given low quality products and services they transition their consuming patterns elsewhere. Businesses on the other hand cannot just reposition their consumer base instantly without suffering numerous setbacks which can be very costly. This means that businesses must truly create value for their consumers especially during these challenging times in order to remain competitive amongst the varying options competitors present to consumers. Variables are the components which help to add substance to the overall picture by connecting the many dots that are necessary for efficient processing. Many people make the mistake of thinking business is a straight-forward act that moves from idea to acceptation without having any important in-between destinations. Not recognizing the importance of strategic planning and the execution of correlating initiatives that create the opportunity for success severely limits the chances of seeing progressive development. Who actually pursues an opportunity knowing they might fail? Hardly anyone but the risk of failure is always a possibility when dealing with entrepreneurship. That is what many individuals fear most when contemplating about pursuing the entrepreneurial journey. If you fail you seem like a complete failure that does not know what they are doing and this produces the fear of what you feel others will negatively think about your risky choices. You could have chosen the safe route like everyone else and became an employee but no you had to be different is what you are thinking. Unemployment, Low-Wages & Entrepreneurship

CNN Money recently had an article posted on its website called “The low-wage jobs explosion.” The article basically explained how the resurgence in the job market has largely been fueled by low-wage jobs. These are the type of jobs that can barely, if at all cover the basic necessities for one to live comfortably. Matter of fact let’s take out the word comfortably and just say to maintain a reasonable standard of living. This means a continual erosion of the middle class is occurring in our American society. As the middle class is progressively shifted downwards, government assistance is elevated in order for people to acquire the basic goods and services no longer afforded to them. Why a Vision is Needed

Is it possible to travel towards a destination without having knowledge of where you are going? Not really. It would be very difficult to navigate when you are unaware of your surroundings and unsure of how to exactly move forward. If we were to examine the majority of people in the world today we would see that they have no sense of vision; no sure answer to the direction in which their life is headed. These are the people who constantly complain about the status of their life but offer up no solutions of their own in order to change their current predicament. They have no idea where their future is headed, they just know that the present is not working in their favor. Can this description be used to describe your entrepreneurial journey/ your life? Being an entrepreneur is the latest hot trend amongst people entering or currently in the stagnate job market. Entrepreneurship is seen as the gateway to freedom, better finances and an overall more rewarding form of work. People associate entrepreneurship with flexibility and the ability to produce exponential riches, which fuels the elevated interest in pursuing its path. Unfortunately though, the reality of such successes are small compared to the relative average existence that a majority of entrepreneurs experience. This fad though is being fed off the perception that following in the path of entrepreneurship will make you instantly rich and enable you to live the lifestyle of Richard Branson or P. Diddy.
